Estelle
Estelle is gaudy, dramatic, romantic, and annoying. Like all of the characters, she has a past, and she also has objectives. Unlike the other characters, however, she doesn't feel very interested in sharing those things. She's inviting in conversation and affection, but closed off in most other ways.

Below are the options I pulled for Estelle before our first fitting. Ultimately, she ended up wearing the look furthest to the right with an edition of a tan strappy heel and hair clips.

Inez
Inez is agressive, rude, offputting, and witty. She is forward about her faults and expects that everyone else will be as well.

Valet
The Valet is otherwordly, mysterious, and friendly while sort of foreboding. He only makes a short appearance, but his job and disconnect from the other characters must be clear.

Below are the options I pulled for The Valet before our first fitting. Ultimately, heended up wearing the look furthest to the left with brighter red tie than what is pictured below. He is also wearing pointed teeth and pointed ear prosthetics.

Garcin
Garcin is self assured, dishonest, cruel, and outspoken. He represents Estelle's desire to be validated and Inez's desire to be right- as for himself, he'd like to just sleep through the whole thing if he could.

The actor playing Garcin was very tall and had long arms. With the show needing to be pulled and with limited time, his first fitting was mix and matching all of our tan and green items of clothing that could pass as period.
​
Therefore, I didn't preplan any options for Garcin.
